Description :

 

Written in four months in 1823, the opera Fierrabras, due to the circumstances, was not staged. It was only in 1897 that it was first presented on the stage, albeit with major alterations and reductions. The Renaissance of Fierrabras took place in 1988 in Vienna thanks to the conductor Claudio Abbado, under whose musical direction the opera gained a worthy stage life.
